I didn't buy it since it was a small pot. lol.

As for the pandan, my future mother in law just got back from Vietnam so she smuggled some for me. LOL. But only two surviving so far.

I think I have the recipe for banh canh. I made it once before. I'll post it up later when I make banh canh. But the potato ricer holes are not that large for banh canh...we can make it noodle size. So far we got the restaurant, invitations (sending out the end of the month), got my dresses 3 years ago..lol. Going to the studio here in PA to take pictures 8/15. With the studio we had to get the whole package which includes studio pics, wedding day pics and video. I wish there were more choices for studio pics in PA. We are thinking to get the cake from one of the Chinatown bakery. I still have to get party favors and think of a theme. Just so much more to do and work too.:(

Anyway, back to answering all your questions.

As for the vegetarian website, I just found a chinese one with couples of dishes in it: http://jadebeauty.blogspot.com
I'll search for more since I like to eat some vegetarian food sometime.

Issy- if you go to my profile and right click on my email you can copy it and email me. Does the studio have a website? We got one here and it's expensive...but their pictures are ok.Kristyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16298120337495513348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389038925487522743.post-18226134605925209342009-08-05T14:30:24.447-04:002009-08-05T14:30:24.447-04:00Is me again. I use grape leaves to make bo la nho instead of bo la lop. La nho has a sour taste after it has been cooked. Also, do you have a recipe for bot banh canh. I searched everywhere even on youtube but can't find it. I will try your banh bot loc after I got the potato ricer. My husband loves che banh bot loc.Issyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13317689247373703324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389038925487522743.post-47775617445417305002009-08-05T14:25:14.083-04:002009-08-05T14:25:14.083-04:00Congratulation ch3rri if that is your real name......Congratulation ch3rri if that is your real name...he-he:) Your garden looks wonderfully and I am jealous of how talented you are. I also have a great cake maker but I don't know if she will go that far to PA as the baker resides in VA. She made my Wedding cake. Too bad I can't send you an attachment of a photo of the cake to you as your blogs doesn't have one to choose for an attachment.
Again, congrats and send us more photos of the happily couple.Issyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13317689247373703324noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389038925487522743.post-40773222355431338682009-08-05T09:33:48.614-04:002009-08-05T09:33:48.614-04:00Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

I moved from NY to Fl 2 yrs ago, and when in NY I always wanted to grow tropicals. Anyway, I'm really impressed with your attempts. If I ever move back to NY I'd definitely have to buy a greenhouse.

Anyway, this is posted under the wrong section, but I wanted to know if you know any blogs or websites that show you easy ways how to cook Asian vegetarian dishes. I really enjoy Asian foods from all countries but don't really know how to cook it. If you can point me to any websites I'd appreciate.

Thanks and Good Luck with the your plants and your wedding.

AnnetteAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389038925487522743.post-66588463120558598552009-08-05T05:25:30.083-04:002009-08-05T05:25:30.083-04:00Congratulations on your coming wedding!Congratulations on your coming wedding! My Taste Heavenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08008766530114242765noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6389038925487522743.post-10002142679783132372009-08-04T19:41:51.909-04:002009-08-04T19:41:51.909-04:00LOL...talking about the pandan I think only two of...LOL...talking about the pandan I think only two of them survived...the rest kinda rotten away. I love buying "la lot" ( Betel leaves?) to make wraps with. Tried to grow curry leaves..total failure. I'd love to be able to grow pandan!Chrisnoreply@blogger.com
